Our journey started back in September 2023, when we recognised that the marketplace was crying out for a reliable product, with truly competitive “Total Cost of Ownership” figures. The partnership with LiuGong was a perfect fit for what we envisioned as a nationwide dealership, and from the embers of these discussions a strategic alliance was formed.
Fox Equipment Sales signed the agreement with LiuGong and met Mr Law (Senior Vice president) and his team, who travelled all the way from China to take part in the ceremony. The journey then commenced with setting up a dealer network that was based on caring for our customers. We designed a mission statement that gave us the road map for our journey and produced the following “We aspire to deliver the lowest “Total Cost of Ownership” for our customers, with reliable quality products, supported by a nationwide network of qualified engineers”.
Our network stretches from the Top of Scotland to the South Coast of Cornwall. The network has eight bespoke service centres, supporting our customer base with parts and service, enabling us to deliver on our mission statement.
As the famous Chinese Philosopher Lao Tzu once stated: “The Journey of a thousand miles, begins with one step”
We look forward to delivering on our mission statement and growing our market share in the UK marketplace over the next five to ten years.
Established in 1958, LiuGong is not only a pioneer of the production of loaders, but also laid a solid foundation for the technology, talent cultivation and management for the development of CE industry in China.
In 1958, Shanghai Huadong Steel Factory allocated some employees and pieces of equipment to Liuzhou, Guangxi to facilitate the economic development in southwest China. In a wilderness on the west bank of Liujiang River, they built a factory from nothing. In 1966, LiuGong rolled out the first wheel loader accredited by China, which opened a new chapter in the company’s development.
Since 2000, LiuGong has been looking beyond its loader business and working on cross-regional operations and expansion of its product lines. So far, LiuGong has 32 complete product lines in six categories to meet the customers’ demands of various applications as well as extreme operations.
Backed by its historical legacies, LiuGong has developed the core values of “customer oriented, assuring the future by quality; people foremost, create value through cooperation”, striving to build an international brand that leads China’s machinery industry.
